GENETICS OF RECURRENT EARLY-ONSET DEPRESSION (GenRED)
How do I and my family participate?
Contact the study coordinator Dr. Wendy N. Zubenko either by completing the Participant Form or by calling toll free at 1-877-485-7568. Dr. Zubenko will then contact you to discuss the study and answer any questions that you or you family may have. All contact will be kept strictly confidential.
Participation of eligible individuals includes:
- Written informed consent
- Family and personal interviews
- Donation of 4 Tablespoons of blood
- Incentive payments of $25.00 will be made for participation in the family interview, $50.00 for participation in the personal interview, and $25.00 for donation of a blood sample.
Scheduling an Interview
Scheduling is done to accommodate the participants. Interviews can be performed in person or by telephone. Weekend and evening appointments are available. Travel to Pittsburgh or the University is not necessary.
