GENETICS OF SUCCESSFUL AGING (GenSA)
How do I participate?
We are currently recruiting individuals at the extremes of the adult lifespan: 18-25 yrs. and 90+ yrs. Contact the study coordinator Dr. Wendy N. Zubenko either by completing the Participant Form or by calling toll free at 1-877-485-7568. Dr. Zubenko will then contact you to discuss the study and answer any questions that you may have. All contact will be kept strictly confidential.
Participation of eligible individuals includes:
Written informed consent
Brief assessment of memory/cognition
Personal/family medical history
Donation of 4 Tablespoons of blood
Incentive payments of $20.00 will be made for participation.
Scheduling an Interview
Scheduling is done to accommodate the participants. Interviews are performed in person. Weekend and evening appointments are available. Travel to Pittsburgh or the University is not necessary.
